The Department of Commerce was established in the year 2014 with one UG Course (B.Com with Computer Applications) recognised by the University of Kerala. Apart from the UG course, the department also offers an open course “Principles of Management ” to students from non-commerce degree streams.

The department has maintained high academic standards with a number of ‘A’ grade achievements per semester. It provides a proficient environment to nurture commerce professionals with a very high level of knowledge and competence. Over the years, it has established itself as a center of excellence in commerce education. The department has best practices of mixing curricular activities with social activities. The faculty members always try to maintain a good rapport with the student community.
